Based in Alaska with extensive experience working with coastal communities, Tribes and Alaska Native organizations, non-profits, and University students and faculty, our research and consultation services aim to strategically, and creatively, solve challenges facing communities that impact resource access, next generation opportunities, community well-being, traditional livelihoods, infrastructure, and more.

Coastal Cultures Principal, Rachel Donkersloot, holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and brings 15+ years of experience teaching, lecturing, and sharing knowledge with students, scientists, fishermen, and decision-makers across the state and country.
